In the USA and far beyond our borders.

In the western Kenyan village of Kogelo, where Barack Obama's father grew up, people celebrated in the streets and partied deep into the night.

At the house of Barack Obama's grandmother an elated 86-year-old Sarah Obama enjoyed a victory dance and in the local language joyfully shared her feelings with much laughter.

"We are going to have a feast and eat every single meal we have."

And in true African style, the Kogelo villagers slaughtered a boar in celebration and to give thanks.

Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga said the entire country was proud of Barack Obama's presidential victory. He said the government declared Thursday a public holiday to celebrate the win, which he said offered hope for Kenya and the world.

"It gives them confidence in themselves that everything is achievable," Odinga told CNN.

"If somebody sets his mind to it, has the confidence and commitment, this is what Obama's victory really means.. not just to young Kenyans but to the youth all over the world.. (believing) in the ability of one to achieve what one sets out to do."

With a population of less than 1,000, Kogelo is a normally sleepy place that has found itself transformed by Barack Obama's remarkable political success.

President Elect Obama has visited the village before. His first visit was in 1987 just after his father died and when he visited his grandmother in 2006 he was already drawing huge crowds.

Besides his grandmother, Kogelo is also home to Obama's uncle, Said Obama; aunt, Hawa Auma; and half-brother, Malik Obama, who says he speaks regularly to his sibling.

Yvonne Okwara, from Kenya, wrote: "Obama's win is so personal to so many of us, it continues to amaze me. One thing America has taught us today is that true democracy never dies."

And Basimane Bogopa, from Botswana, was heard saying: "Americans have shown once again, why they are world leaders. Obama's victory has shown me that the American dream is real, you just have to dream. My heart is filled with joy."

A wonderful sight it was to see you dance and sing.

The beautiful child of two good friends.

Two friends I grew up with...

A child I witnessed come into this world.

The granddaughter of my mothers best friend.

One I most dearly love.

With the father of her two precious boys.

I receive a message from a brother.

Who rarely ever calls me.

A man takes a trip into the land of American Indian History and with his faithful dog by his side ventures into the land of Grizzly Bear and Wolves.

And comes away with tears in his eyes.

The clear lakes ponds rivers and streams were nothing they had seen before ever.

And the mountains canyons and valleys in contrast with the gorgeous sky above defined the beauty of our land far beyond ever imagined or seen by these two travelers.

Grizzly and Black Bears Wolves Buffalo and the Majestic Elk were all there to be seen.

It is no wonder the Indian tribes that ruled the entire Western United States chose this area as the principal place of retreat and a final place of refuge.

Here is where many fought courageously to the death defending a way of life.

Much was learned and a heart felt glorious trip it was,

In early April 2007

A hard disk drive failure shut me down.

Some media damage some electronics damage and
maybe some logical corruption and head disk
assembly issues.

Very Curious.

It all adds up to hard drive failure and sometimes a
search to recover all that is of value contained within.

The HDD failures came in two waves that put my
system into a scan disk mode each time and in the
end shut my windows os down.

The hard drive was six years old.

Periodically Back-Up everything.

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years."

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:
1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St.Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by:
Gore: 19;
Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by:
Gore: 580,000;
Bush: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:
Gore: 127 million;
Bush: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in
counties won by:
Gore: 13.2;
Bush: 2.1

And professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

This is something to think about as we make our decisions.

We should clearly realize just how much is at stake as we move forward.

It appears that complacency and apathy could be the greatest dangers to our freedom today.

Spoofing Return Addresses is One Thing :

A favorite technique of spammers and other “bad guys” is to “spoof” their return e-mail addresses, making it look as if the mail came from someone else. In effect, this is a form of identity theft, as the sender pretends to be someone else in order to persuade the recipient to do something.. anything from simply opening the message to sending money or revealing personal information.

Someone is right now attacking one of our domains in this way.

And we apoligize to those of you recieving this mail that appears to come from us.

We will do our best to fight and defeat this abuse.

It's not right.

And Phishing Is Another :

Note:
“Phishing” – is the practice of attempting to obtain users’ credit card or online banking information, often incorporates e-mail spoofing. For example, a “phisher” may send e-mail that looks as if it comes from the bank’s or credit card’s administrative department, asking the user to log onto a Web page (which purports to be the bank’s or credit card company’s site but really is set up by the “phisher”) and enter passwords, account numbers, and other personal information.

Summery :

Whatever the motivation, the objective of spoofed mail is to hide the real identity of the sender. This can be done because the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) does not require authentication (unlike some other, more secure protocols). A sender can use a fictitious return address or a valid address that belongs to someone else.

It's not right.

We won't express any more feelings here but log into a safe and secure mode of voip communications and you will hear exactly how we feel.

It appears there is little that one can do about these practices at this moment in time.

Is America facing betrayal and even treason at the highest levels

A gentle man of wisdom seeing things fairly clearly I still believe.

And few understood what he was really talking about at the time.

He saw something wrong and this was his way of showing his concern.

Then sure enough what do we hear next..

In response so they say to a grievous criminal act on american soil and in the interest of public safety the government must take precautions in the name of homeland security and we the american peolpe in return must give them the government power above and beyond the constitution and bill of rights.

Is this real.. ?

It can't be?

Shall America put up with this or shall America fight off this attack.

Giving one man all decision rather than to a gathering of honest and respected men and leaders is a big mistake.

And grievously dangerous.

Do we want them to make paper the american dollar representitive of nothing?

Do we now after 230 years wish to give all power to a certain few.. ?

Individuals with secret program code names.. such as Echelon.

This looks and appears to be a bit out of control to me folks.

It is certainly a more difficult world to deal with every new day.

People worldwide mourn the loss of Steve Irwin "The Crocodile Hunter"

Television star and naturalist, Steve Irwin, has died in a diving accident whilst filming a documentary in Far North Queensland.

He was a remarkable human being and we are deeply saddened this day. All of the animal kingdom will truely miss him.

Steve Irwin is survived by his wife Terri and two children.

Does The USA Support State Sponsored Terrorism?

Our government surely does.

And I demand an end to any support of terrorism
and call for a cease in delivery of any material and
weapons to any and all criminal terrorist states.

Our careless support of this government state of
